Aptly titled “Giorgio Morandi,” Norio Terada and his brand YOKE presents their S/S ’21 collection with a color palette and atmosphere reminiscent of the famous painters’ still life subjects.
Oversized, androgynous button-down shirts make way for draping trench coats, all of which create an overflowing effect, most notably witnessed on the younger models. Their detachable pocket tactical vest is based on the British tactical vest of the ’90s. The large chest pocket is attached via magnet and can be detached and utilized as a bag. Another standout includes the reversible double-breasted overcoat, the uniqueness of the color scheme is due to the use of different fabrics for the body, sleeve, and lining.
