Founded in 2004, WACKO MARIA has been designing pieces inspired by 50s and 60s subculture and incorporating their own personal style and influences. Designed by Kieji Ishizuka and Atsuhiko Mori, the brand is now in its seventh year and remains true to its style roots. This season, they incorporate a religious influence with interpretations of the Virgin Mary and Lady of Guadalupe, paired with their famous Guilty Parties and Outrageous Inc slogans. Also featured are their Guilty Parties off-brand, which focuses on tailored suit jackets and pants; they add classic print shirts as the lining on some of the jackets, which adds a great personal touch.
