Daisuke Tanaka began his fashion journey while in the knitwear course at the Osaka Institute of Fashion, Fashion Creator Department. After graduating in 2015, he worked for designer Keita Maruyama and eventually became an independent costume maker and embroidery artist. Then, in 2021, following a surprisingly successful run of embroidered masks. Daisuke-san incorporated the label and capitalized on its current social status paired with his learned skills.
Today, the brand continues to make waves and carve out its dreamy androgynous space. Incorporating elements from the Jazz Age and Roaring 20s, subverting the silhouettes of men, and adding his touch of embroidery—all culminating in a unique “modern” brand that produces an overwhelming sensibility of old-age decadence.
