Designers Hisayo Hidaka and Hideaki Miyahara established their brand Scye after attending fashion college and gaining reputable experience within the fashion industry for a short period. Since 2000 the brand has been producing collections featuring a 19th-century English workwear mantra, reinterpreting those designs into a style that fuses classic and modern.
This season’s creations concentrate on elements such as military, work, and sports. Components of British tailoring are scattered throughout; this double-breasted blazer is finely tailored to hug your body shape, creating a dignified silhouette. An opulent aura is affirmed with the finishing fabric in brown and beige based checks. Outerwear is typically a strong-point for the brand, and this season is no different. On the women’s side, this long coat is fabricated in a wool-cashmere melton finish, which gives it an overall warmth, while still fitting oversized for style.
