Since he was young, Takayuki Fujii enjoyed traveling to Europe and the United States, watching foreign movies and listening to western music. All of those experiences had a strong impact on Fujii and allowed to him pinpoint his design inspiration. For this recent A/W collection, Fujii traveled to Mexico, starting in Oaxaca in the south and working his war north. The inspiration reveals itself the most within the color palate, with a beautiful mix of earth tones and colors that derive their names from flowers; like dahlia pink, mimosa yellow and agave green. The main features of the collection are the technical materials that were utilized, with outerwear coming in Gore-Tex, Windstopper, and Pilantex, while down has been replaced with the super-insulating PrimaLoft Gold.
