Since 2001, the English brand Folk has been sourcing quality and technical materials from mills in Japan and Italy. The brand’s goal with each collection is to learn through research, what has been tried and tested, then take those elements and refine their designs around them. “The overall direction of the collection is clean and even minimal in Folk’s standards. To match our careful selection of fabrics, we have concentrated on putting less on a garment, to only show the right details at their very best: whether it’s using beautiful horn or corozo nut buttons, square aluminium backing buttons, a contrast pocket welt trim or putting a single brass hook on a suit jacket’s lapel.”
