Once again, Liberty has teamed up with a great, well-established brand, The North Face, to present an excellent down jacket for the autumn season. Liberty is a department store located in the heart of London since 1875. The ideas and passion of one man, Arthur Liberty, who travelled the world to find great design, which he then brought back to England and opened his storefront in 1875. Since then, the company has expanded its product base substantially and now Liberty is “a wonderful emporium where the latest fashions sit alongside design classics”. Another noteworthy point about Liberty is their prints. Ever since its creation, they have collaborated with dyers and printers to make one-of-a-kind prints and fabrics, which is still a landmark of design with them. The print we see on the down jacket is another unique 1 of 1 print made in limited quantities, which only The North Face Purple Label store in Japan has stock, unfortunately for my American readers. If you live in Japan, you can head over to the Nanamica web store to purchase it now, though.
