In their debut collection, IRENISA provides a balanced output of easy-to-wear and tone-muted outfits. Co-designers Yu Kobayashi and Yuji Abe both gained experience within the fashion industry in Japan. Yu, cutting patterns at Yohji Yamamoto and Yuji, doing planning, production, and design at support surface. Those backgrounds come together and form a brand that focuses on craftsmanship, three-dimensional design, and the basics of fashion. The look book above showcases how clean some of the ensembles are, but also have strong design cues; like asymmetrical no-collar shirts and jackets, technical fabricated suits, and high-waisted, pleated trousers in a variety of materials.
Enjoy the campaign above and be on the look out for the collection to drop in select stockists soon.
