ASEEDONCLOUD pictured themselves nestled into the dark concaves of an early-century coal mine with their latest collection. Taking inspiration not only from the classic garb that used to adorn the shoulders of these industrious working individuals but also the straightforward way photographers would capture people those days.
Material and color choices also play a large part in the theme of this season, heavy and warm fabrics like woven wool, tweed, and canvas cotton are mainly utilized. While warm and earth tones grace most fabrics, this mud brown jacket and pant set are radiant with hues of red because of the nature of the material. The grey stripe in this unbleached cotton suit is inspired by Kentaro’s imagining of volcanic ash running through an ice cave and also the early century styling labeled “Texas-style.”
