arth is a relatively new brand that produces stylish and aesthetically unique headwear. They’ve only created two collections so far, but their parent company, Kurihara Corp., has been in the headwear business since 1922.
As with most hat brands, designs are formulated from vintage creations and then made with the brands’ design philosophy in mind. This season we see them derive inspiration from classic styles such as the Canotier, Hunting cap, Beret, and Marine Casquette. The design on this hat is obtained from the style of vintage pilot caps, it’s ear flaps are shortened, but it still allows you to use them if the need arises, and the boa lining is essential for warmth during the colder months. While this fedora is adorned with braided knit ear flaps, showcasing their need for functionality within the brand as well.
