For their latest collection, SUPERTHANKS appose their playful design aesthetics with quality craftsmanship to create a standout campaign for A/W ’20. The design team established themselves in 2011 and ever since have been providing colorful and uncommon clothing for their young following.
This collection provides us with a similar aesthetic as before, yet this season could be described as a bit more mature than previous seasons. Their inclusion of faux leather to accessorize and create pants and shirts allow the bright colors and patterns to be subdued for the right overall look. This outfit is an example of the juxtaposition described above; the wool car coat is accented with a faux leather pocket, which, along with the wide plaid-patterned trousers, highlight the playfulness of the brand while the coat provides formality.
