Designer couple Satoshi and Asami Yamane are the duo behind travel-centric brand F/CE. As an inspirational approach, each season involves traveling to a different country and deriving their collection concepts around their sights and experiences. Past countries include Morocco, Norway, Switzerland, Cuba, Ireland, Deutschland, and France. Since S/S ’19, though, they’ve been roaming around the UK, snapping pictures of the landscape, its famous architecture, and the people who encompass that region. When trekking these countries, the team takes pride in using and testing the products—mainly their extensive line of bags—they create to gain a better understanding of what is working properly and what should be tweaked or improved upon.
As for the bags this season, the line-up includes sets of Robic™, PET nylon, the 950 line, Spectra, and XPAC styles. The list continues here, as they make sure to provide material and design choices for essentially every type of living environment.
The collection has started hitting retail shelves across Japan and Europe now at select stockists.
