YANTOR is a multi-disciplinary brand based out of Shibuya, who’ve been fine-tuning their skills since 2008. The team includes Kosuke Sakakura, who handles the concept design & Kensuke Yoshida, who oversees patterns. Since the brand’s inception, the motif is a concept that incorporates the conceptual aspects of ethnic culture and religious clothing and the physical elements such as accidental wrinkles and silhouettes when a cloth plane forms to the body.
This season, they hit the streets of West Bengal, India, to showcase their collection for spring. Highlights include pieces constructed from khadi cotton; a 100% hand-spun fabric that is mainly found in the eastern region of the Indian subcontinent, this jacquard cotton jacket showcases the talent associated with both designers. Other notables include pieces fabricated from jacquard cotton & wool, like this set that utilizes a mix of khadi & jacquard cotton.
